A COPY OF THE TONEX SOFTWARE IS REQUIRED TO USE THESE PRESETS
The idea for this series of collections is to capture 5 different amplifiers per collection through the same speaker cabinet to capture the unique characteristics and strengths of each amp to offer a player a versatile set of tone models to cover many tonal bases.
The individual tone models with the amps they are based off are as follows:
Clean – based off a Two-Rock Studio Signature
Push – based off a Dr. Z Z-Wreck Jr.
OD 1 – based off a Marshall 1974x
OD 2 – based off a Marshall 2555x
OD 3 – based off a Suhr Plexi SL67 “Plexi”
The captures are based off the amps meticulously captured through a 1x12 Two-Rock closed back speaker cab.
This collections tones model an array of different gain and channel settings. The bundle includes 5 amp/cab tone models (amp > mic > mic pre) all at various gain and tonal settings through the previously mentioned speaker.
The naming convention for the tone model presets are, for example, as follows:
JS – Mix ‘n’ Match xxxx x
The “xxxx” signifies the overall level of gain in the tone model from Clean to Push to OD. The single “x” signifies the level gain within the previous mentioned overall level of gain.
The tone models were recorded with a Shure SM7B mic.
