This tone model bundle is a collection of tones based off a stunning Dr. Z Z/28 Mk. II amplifier.
The bundle is a set of captures based off my favorite settings on the amp meticulously captured both through a 2x12 speaker cab loaded with Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speakers.
This bundles tones model an array of different gain and channel settings. The bundle includes 6 amp/cab tone models (amp > mic > mic pre) and 6 amp only (DI) tone models all at various gain and tonal settings through the previously mentioned speaker cab. The naming convention for the tone model presets are, for example, as follows:
JS – Zee 28 DC (DI) Ult “xxxx” “x”
The “xxxx” signifies the overall level of gain from Clean to Push to OD. The single “x” signifies the level of gain within the previously mentioned overall level of gain. If the name contains “DI” the tone model is an amp only “DI” tone model and will require a cab/IR to sound as intended.
The amp tone models were captured with a Royer R10 ribbon mic.
