THIS COLLECTION IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH KEMPER PROFILER PRODUCTS. A KEMPER HEAD, RACK OR STAGE IS REQUIRED TO USE THIS RIG COLLECTION.
This rig collection is a collection of tones based off a no longer available East Amplification Club 18 hand wired tube amplifier. This bundle is a set of profiles based off my favorite settings on the amp meticulously captured through a 2x10 East Reference speaker cab.
This collections rigs model an array of different gain settings. The bundle includes 10 studio rigs (amp > mic > mic pre) at various gain levels and settings through the previously mentioned speaker cab.
The naming convention for the tone presets are, for example, as follows:
JS – C18 xxxx
The xxxx signifies the overall level of gain in the rig/profile from Clean to Push to OD.
1. Clean Warm – Amp set to as clean as it can be and dialed in for a warmer tone.
2. Clean Bright - Amp set to as clean as it can be and dialed in for a brighter tone.
3. Push (57) – This is a pushed to breakup amp tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.
4. Push (Ribbon) – This is a pushed to breakup amp tone mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
5. Push+ (57) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.
6. Push+ (Ribbon) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push tone mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
7. OD (57) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push+ tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.
8. OD (Ribbon) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push+ tone mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
9. Dist (57) – This is a higher gain level compared to OD tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.
10. Dist (Ribbon) – This is a higher gain level compared to OD tone mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
Feel free to use these profiles and rigs as starting points to dial in your own tones or use them as dialed in by default.
