THIS COLLECTION IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH KEMPER PROFILER PRODUCTS. A KEMPER HEAD, RACK OR STAGE IS REQUIRED TO USE THIS RIG COLLECTION.
This rig collection is a collection of tones based off a no longer available East Amplification Studio 2 hand wired tube amplifier. This bundle is a set of profiles based off my favorite settings on the amp meticulously captured through the combos 1x10 East Reference speaker.
This collections rigs model an array of different gain settings. The bundle includes 9 studio rigs (amp > mic > mic pre) at various gain levels and settings through the previously mentioned speaker cab.
The naming convention for the tone presets are, for example, as follows:
JS – S2 xxxx
The xxxx signifies the overall level of gain in the rig/profile from Clean to Push to OD.
- Clean (Ribbon) – Amp set to as clean as it can be mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
- Push (57) – This is a pushed to breakup amp tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.
- Push (Ribbon) – This is a pushed to breakup amp tone mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
- Push+ (57) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.
- Push+ (Ribbon) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push tone mic’ed with a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic.
- OD (57) – This is a higher gain level compared to Push+ tone mic’ed with a Shure SM57 mic.

Feel free to use these profiles and rigs as starting points to dial in your own tones or use them as dialed in by default.
