This rig collection delivers the authentic tones of a Dr. Z X-Ray tube amplifier, meticulously captured to provide a dynamic and versatile playing experience.
Each rig is crafted using my favorite settings on the amp, ensuring high-quality, studio-grade tones. The amp was recorded through its 1x12 Warehouse Retro 30 speaker cab, capturing every nuance of its rich, boutique sound.
 
What’s Included?
 
🎛 5 Studio Rigs – (Amp > Mic > Mic Pre) at various gain levels, captured through the 1x12 Warehouse Retro 30speaker cab.
🎛 5 Direct Rigs – Raw amp profiles, allowing you to pair them with your own IR or speaker sim for complete tonal flexibility.
 
Rig Naming Convention:
 
JS – Z-Ray Ult (DI) x
 
"x" represents the gain level of the rig (1 being the lowest).
"DI" in the name indicates a direct rig/profile that requires an IR or speaker simulation for proper tone shaping.

Use these rigs as a starting point to fine-tune your perfect tone, or simply load them up and start playing!
