This capture collection is a collection of amp/cab captures based off a PRS Archon 50 amplifier.
This bundle is a set of captures based off various settings on the amp meticulously captured DI (amp only) with no speaker cab. Included with the collection is a custom IR of a 2x12 G12H-75 Creamback loaded cab mic’ed with a Royer R10 ribbon microphone.
This collections tones profile an array of different gain settings. The collection includes 5 DI (amp only) captures with the amp at various channel and gain levels and settings.
The naming convention for the tone models are, for example, as follows:
js_archie_ult_di_xxxx_x.nam
The “xxxx” signifies the overall level of gain from Clean to Push to OD. The single “x” signifies the level of gain within the previously mentioned overall level of gain. Clean and Push 1 are based off the amplifiers Ch. 1 while Push 2, OD 1 and OD 2 are based off the amplifiers Ch. 2.
These captures are created to sound most accurate with an input level of 0dbu = -11 dbfs.
