The BB Series of captures are a series of capture collections based off various amps plugged into an AmpRx Brown Box dropping the voltage to a lower level therefore changing the overall feel of the amplifier.
This capture collection is a collection of amp/cab captures based off a Suhr SL67 “Plexi” amplifier.
This bundle is a set of captures based off various settings on the amp meticulously captured through a 2x12 G12H-75 Creamback loaded cab mic’ed with a Shure SM7B microphone.
This collections tones profile an array of different gain settings. The collection includes 11 amp/cab captures with the amp at various channel and gain levels and settings. The amp was captured in the low voltage setting and then the voltage dropped again by the Brown Box for an ultra-saggy vintage style tone.
The naming convention for the tone models are, for example, as follows:
js_sir_plex_bb_ult_x_(xx).nam
The “x” signifies the overall level of gain from 1 to 4. The “xx” signifies the input that was used either (i), (ii) or (Jmp).
These captures are created to sound most accurate with an input level of 0dbu = -11 dbfs.
